AASA Testing Information 2025

The information below was devised with feedback from proctoring teachers in 2024 and the realities of implementing required state testing to over 300 students. We will review this information, provide updates, and ensure we are locked in at Nuts and Bolts this coming Wednesday.

Reminders for Testing

• Please prepare any computer carts or chromebooks in your classroom to be requisitioned on Thursday afternoon and Friday. We need every single one for next week
• Prepare your room for daily testing in the morning
• Complete your training, if not complete
• Regularly check your email during testing, phones will not be used
• This is a full-contract day
• Rosters have been sent

Reminders for Students

• Best foot forward!
• Dress in layers
• Bring silent activity if finished early
• Sleep well
• Hydrate
• Good breakfast
• This will be 100% on our chrome books

Schedule

Monday through Friday (March 31st - April 4th)

• Grades 6-8 test in the 8:00am to 10:00am window

• Grades 9-12 will be on a 2-hour delay

• All grades will follow this daily schedule:

  Period 1:	10:15-10:49
  Period 2:	10:54- 11:28
  Period 3:	11:33 - 12:07
  Lunch:	12:07 - 12:39
  Period 4:	12:44 - 1:18
  Period 5:	1:23 - 1:57
  Period 6:	2:02 - 2:36
  Period 7:	2:41 - 3:15

AASA Test Schedule

Proctoring Assignments

Building A will have a consistent proctor for the entire week with 6th grade in the 6th grade wing, 7th in the 7th/8th hallway. Building B will rotate proctors with high school teachers (besides Hines, in room 210) and have all 8th graders.
